Lauren Sok, MPT

Lauren is a Licensed Physical Therapist who obtained a Masters in Physical Therapy and a BS in Health Sciences from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2000.   In addition to her extensive background in Manual therapy, Lauren is also certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Trigger Point Dry Needling, Women's Health, and Stott Pilates.  This broad background allows for a comprehensive approach to running injuries. An avid recreational runner for over 20 years, Lauren has worked with runners of all levels and ages from the novice to highly competitive athletes.  Lauren's goal is to provide solutions for your problems. Her comprehensive, functional evaluation approach helps her identify the origin of the issue so that treatment can address the cause and not just the symptoms. For example, sometimes back pain is the result of an old knee injury that was never rehabbed correctly;  or perhaps failure to increase your running speed may be due to poor muscle control rather than a lack of flexibility in the legs.
